The Association wishes there were words that really sum
up how grateful we are, but, a big “thank you” is all we
can say, so to those of you whose donations provided
a massive collection of high quality goods and to those
who purchased them and joined in the fun of the day,
we say
"THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU”
Now, of course, you would like to know how much,
cash wise, the association collected, well it was so much
that not only did Santa Claus check it once, he checked it
twice and he agreed that none of you had been naughty
but had been very, very nice and he was really, really glad
he had come to town and he totted up the takings to a
whopping,
£1,007.10
It is hoped that we can repeat this again next year when
we hold our Spring/summer fete, hopefully, around the
end of MAY, so hang on to those unwanted Xmas gifts etc.
we will need your donations again,however, we must mention
that there will be one rule we must make and enforce and
that is , if a child is unaccompanied by an adult they will not
be allowed in (“we learn as we go on”) as there were a few
children running around and not only risking harm to
themselves but also to the elder members of our community.
