Nick Gibb MP Meets Members

NICK GIBB, MP

With reference to the meeting with Nick Gibb on 19th December
2008 there is now ongoing consultation with Nick Gibb’s PA
and our Secretary. At the meeting fears were raised regarding
our estate and PfP. Nick Gibb said that he would take this
matter up with the Chief Executive of PfP and would arrange
a meeting with a senior member of the Company and himself
at the House of Commons to discuss their proposals for our
estate in more detail. After this a meeting will be arranged
between him, PfP and representatives of the Committee at
the House of Commons.

Subjects brought up at the meeting were the garages, open
spaces and the allotments. The maintenance agreements
with PfP and some householders on the estate was also
mentioned along with members concerns regarding parking
of vehicles on some green areas. Nick Gibb said that he would
raise a question in the House of Commons regarding the estate
and will also raise this with the Secretary of State at the New
Year’s meeting.

He stated that he was 100% with us but we will have a fight
on our hands when the economic climate changes so
WE MUST NOT RELAX.
