MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 13th AUGUST 2009
Present: John Bass, Brian Pinchen, Anne Bass, Christine Mitchell,Ruth Partridge, Dave Mitchell,
Allison Honeywood, Phillip Conroy, David Greene
1. Apologies for absence: Tina Mitchell, Tony Edwards.
2. To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting on 23rd July 2009.
The minutes were proposed, approved and signed.
3. Matters arising from the Minutes.
None
4. Secretary’s Report
A letter has been received from Nick Gibb, MP together with a copy of a letter to him from
David Hooper, PfP regarding transferring the Allotments to WFRA. We have also received a letter
from Sandra LeVallee of PfP on the same subject. Willowhale Allotments Secretary has also
received a letter. This is an ongoing matter and we will keep you informed of progress.
Emails have been sent to Sandra LeVallee regarding members’ problems on the estate.
5. Reports from Committee Members.
John and Ruth have submitted a grant application to Aldwick Parish Council
John has signed and completed our insurance cover.
6. Chairman’s Report
The Chairman will be in touch with all residents associations in this area so that
we can work together.
7. Any Other Business
Places for People have informed us of a contact number for any complaints or
maintenance requirements. They must now phone 0800 432 0002 whereby all calls
are logged and referred through to the appropriate person. Please keep this number and
remember to telephone them in the first instance.

Our Stand at the ABC Day at Avisford Park on 22nd August 2009 with donations raised over £100.
Thank you to all who visited us and supplied goods (produce from the allotments). Remember our
next venture is the Christmas Fayre on 21st November 2009 - more details next month.
MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
Attached is a membership renewal form from 1st October 2009 for the coming year. Could you please
fill in this form and return as stated. If you have difficulty in returning the form one of our
committee can call on you. Please give us a ring on 265046 (John/Anne). For those who have
already renewed please ignore the form and many thanks.
We have achieved a lot in just one year. We have stopped the building on the allotments and
at the moment garages are being re-let by PfP.
WE NEED YOUR CONTINUED MEMBERSHIP FOR THE FIGHT TO KEEP THIS ESTATE AS YOU WOULD WANT.
TOGETHER WE ARE A FORCE, SINGULARLY WE ARE NOTHING. WE MUST FIGHT THIS TOGETHER.
